Xolo Q1100 Review

I can see a counter to Moto G. XOLO Q1100 is a new phone to beat. It might not be a world renowned smartphone maker but they should be. Producing such quality with great precision is not an easy job. I see a budget smartphone and I just want to compare it to the Moto G because that easily sits as the king of all budget smartphones.

This phone has a really good built quality. I tag XOLO as the best matte design and built over this price range. The design is pretty standard. It goes over the philosophy of Sony phones. They are rectangular and pretty slim. XOLO Q1100 looks really nice and holding it in your hands is a great feeling. XOLO Q1100’s edges do not feel that great as the plastic does not feel that good in your hands.

XOLO Q1100 has a really beautiful 5.0 inch display. It has a resolution of 720×1280 pixels- that is an HD Display. The display is really dear to your eyes and it just seems to be brilliant at colour quality and detailing. On the corners they do lack the consistency. The colour saturation is decent but it is not so accurate. The viewing angles are brilliant for a display at this price range.

There is an 8MP camera on the rear and 2MP front facing camera. The front facing camera is really decent. Self-portraits and calls to your loved ones will be really enjoyable. The primary camera does take really clean photos. They are not the best in colour representation but there is nothing cleaner (well detailed) than XOLO Q1100’s photos in this price range. You can share these photos over the social media and even save them as memories. What I mean is, the quality is good enough to keep the photos as they are well detailed.

You would find most of the budget smartphones in India having v4.2.2 Jelly Bean at the most but this XOLO Q1100 comes with v4.3 Jelly Bean. The first OS to incorporate real time 1080p playback. The user interface is pretty amazing and it is not heavy on your RAM as a Samsung TouchWiz. I really like the UI as it is easy to get around.

This is a special phone. I just cannot get in terms with the specification because this one has a Snapdragon 400 processor, the one you would find in flagships that released 2 years back and still the cost is so low. XOLO Q1100’s Snapdragon 400 is clocked at 1.4GHz. You get 1GB RAM and a staggering 8GB internal memory expandable to up to 32GB. You het 2 days of battery life with moderate usage and it plays out really well.
