If you have a Windows Phone 8 smartphone or plan to buy one, this news is for you. There has been a leak of the notification centre of the Windows Phone 8.1. Microsoft might be calling it the “Action Centre” as rumoured. You might get the update in 2-3 months and additional features are still unknown. A really helpful update came from the Nokia Black update that provided WP8 with a great camera UI and a lot of small cheeky tweets.

What I don’t understand is why they are getting a notification centre. The whole point of having the live tiles was to get all your notifications, or at least that’s what Microsoft said while they were selling it to us. The Action Centre will let you toggle with your basic options just like in Android or iOS. You can toggle airplane mode, WiFi, Driving and Bluetooth. Now please pro Android and iOS fans, don’t lash out on Windows Phone 8.1 and say it is a rip off, WP8 is probably the most fresh and amazing thing ever happened to the smartphone industry.
