Twitter App gets an important update

Earlier this week, Twitter released another update for their iOS and Android app. After recently fixing the bug that causes its iOS app to crash, this update focuses on improvising the user experience.

With Biz Stone being busy with his other company ‘Jelly Industries, Inc.’ releasing their second app “SUPER” which is yet another photo sharing app, the guys from the twitter improvised their photo-sharing feature of the app. As apps like Instagram and Snapchat gaining popularity, this update of twitter by introducing more and better filters is giving its rivals a tough competition.

Whenever you attach a photo or a picture with your tweet, you can edit the photo by simply tapping on it. As soon as you tap on the image you are brought to a new screen which allows you to move and scale, enhance image properties or apply filters. Now all these can be viewed one by one by swiping left, or right, or you can view all of the filters in a grid form. The new filters which have been added to the photo editing tool of twitter are Radiant, Positive, Warm, Breeze, Glow, Golden, Fame and Stark. Once you like a filter, double tap it and it will allow you to adjust the filter density with the help of a slider.

Meanwhile twitter confirms another update which will be aimed at making the report abuse easier. Now when you report someone or block someone, you don’t have to type detailed information about the situation. Instead you can choose from the given categories like harassment, impersonation, etc. and also you can type in a detailed explanation if you want.

Looks like twitter is finally looking into the issues that concern the users and also providing them with a solution very quickly.
