Top 5 Smartphones

We are through with all the major releases of the year. We got the Sony Xperia Z2, the HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5 early in the year at MWC and CES 2014. Next sector of the year is where the actual fireworks took place, with iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Motorola Moto X. There was a time in between where the LG G3 made the first Quad HD debut. And If you realized, yeah none of the Windows Phones are considered to be too cool to be considered for the hall of fame of awesome phones.
So here are our top 5 smartphones till date:

5. Samsung Galaxy S5

This over the top soft touch panel phone is good but not great enough to be one of the most desirable phones of the year. Samsung Galaxy S5 packs a Snapdragon 801 processor and sports a full HD display. What gave it the Number 5 is the software (which I don’t like) that packs tons of useful features for people.

4. LG G3

What got this phone a place ahead of the Galaxy S5 is the Quad HD display which is one of the most beautiful things to look at and a similar but more intuitive software features LG has to offer on this beautiful canvas and a sport of a built. It also has a Snapdragon 801 processor. Even the Laser AF camera is a clear winner against the Galaxy S5.

3. Samsung Galaxy Note 4

With the Snapdragon 805 processor and the crystal clear 5.7 inch Quad HD Display. The feature set in the Note is always far superior than that of the Galaxy S5. It has the better camera than the two and is just a better built phone as well and deserves the number 3.

2. Motorola Moto X 2014 Edition and HTC One M8

I mean come on, a vanilla (pure) android phone is the best Android will ever be portrayed. And, no one does it better than Motorola. Moto X offers best software tweaks on a pure Android KitKat platform with state of the art Snapdragon 805 processor and a full HD display. The camera is not that much better than the Galaxy S5 or Note 4 but the functionality alone takes a lot of weight to put it in slot 2.
HTC M8 is the best skin on an Android phone period and it does not give you that awkward design that Samsung phones do. I put it equal to Moto X because I really could not choose. The HTC Sense 6 is an addition to Android and does not feel like something that would cripple it like the TouchWiz UI (though it does add some wonderful features). The criticized UltraPixel camera is just brilliant.

1. Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus

With the main problem with the iPhone removed, I don’t see why I should not give it this slot. You have a larger display now and that is all everyone ever wanted for this phone. Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus with brilliant cameras, most beautiful displays the cleanest OS in the market ( by personal taste), they surely take the number one spot. They are the only phones with the best finger print scanners and the best build quality in the market.
