Top 5 Android Phones 2013

Almost every other phone that releases has Android in it (almost). Though, the versions might regulate (a lot actually) but yeah in almost every other phone. This year saw some great Android phones. 2013 was Andriod’s year, expanding their OS to 77%+ devices. Here is a look at what we at Gadget Speaks think are the top 5 Android phones in 2013.

5. Samsung Galaxy S4

Many of you might disagree but the other phones ranked above it are way more awesome. Samsung Galaxy S4 is one of the fastest phones around with the Octa Core processor, though it should have come with a disclaimer as only 4 cores work at a time on the Octa Core. Samsung Galaxy S4 is high on software and has an incredible display and camera. This places the Samsung Galaxy S4 safely on number 5 of top android phones of 2013.

4. Samsung Galaxy Note III

Samsung Galaxy Note III
Samsung Galaxy Note III is screamingly powerful with the Snapdragon 800 and 3GB RAM. It also provides 4K video capturing, this is not yet available on any major smartphone. The 5.7 inch full HD display is just bliss to have on board. Note series is known for it’s features and this specific model does not tend to change that for them. The features are more accurate than ever and the built is exceptional as well.

3. HTC One

HTC knew they had to change something about their smartphones. Their company was desperate and the title HTC “One” is so because all their hopes and work were put into this one phone to save them and it was absolutely smashing. HTC One’s UltraPixel camera is just amazing, the low light performance could not have been any better. HTC Sense, their UI is cleaner than ever and gives you two amazing features, HTC Zoe and HTC Blinkfeed. The speakers on board are the best on smartphone period.

2. LG Google Nexus 5

I frankly do not look forward to Android devices as much as WP or iPhone but Nexus series does get my blood flowing. Google Nexus 5 hosts the Android’s latest v4.4 KitKat in its native pure form. You can control the phone hands free just like the Motorola Moto X. The camera is pretty standard, nothing too exciting on that area. The display is just amazing, 5 inch and full HD. The power of Snapdragon 800 adds the necessary muscle to this stellar smartphone.

1. Motorola Moto X

Motorola Moto G
Many people in many countries might be clueless about which phone that is but let me tell you it is an “actual smartphone”. The smartness this phone has, no other device does. Okay you can nag about the 720p HD display, but not like you were unhappy with that last year when phones had this much at the maximum. It has the most incredible battery life, better than any other smartphone on the planet. The smart notifications give you just the information you need on the AMOLED display. The hands free feature was first introduced on this phone and it has totally changed everything, siri on Apple has been kicked by Google here. The voice commands are so accurate, any accent, it will understand you clearly and is at your service in no time.
