Sony currently unveiled a series of phones to us and they seem to be really tempting. All of them will be rolling out in Q1 of 2014 and out of all of these, two of them simply stood out simply because it is the most powerful of the lot. The most surprising thing I would say is the fact that they have not gone for a design change. The two phones that take the limelight are Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and Sony Xperia E1.
Sony Xperia T2 Ultra will fancy a 6 inch 720p display. Don’t go howling why isn’t it full HD because it will certainly cost much less than Xperia Z Ultra and Z1. The phone will run on the Android v4.3 Jelly Bean. So far I have no knowledge if this phone will be getting a v4.4 KitKat update or not. The hardware also features a Qualcomm 1.4GHz Quad Core monster and playing a supporting role is 1GB of RAM. It also has 8GB of internal memory which will be expandable to 32GB. Camera on the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra will be a 13MP one along with all the necessary features and the great Sony camera UI. The design will be pretty much similar to Sony Xperia Z1 but just larger.
The other one will be the all new affordable Sony Xperia E1, an upgrade over the Sony Xperia E. the all new Sony Xperia E1 will have a 4 inch 480×800 display. It will be a TFT capacitive touchscreen display. The camera will be the same old shooter that has carried on from last two generations of Sony Xperia’s most affordable phone- the 3.15MP one. I am hopeful that we might see a small different dimension to it. Sony Xperia E1 will also have v4.3 Android along with a Dual Core 1.2GHz processor and 512MB of RAM.
Only time will tell how they will perform and how the consumers are going to like it. I am really hoping for some amazing software innovations in the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and a very appealing price for the Sony Xperia E1. The Sony Xperia E1 will also have a dual sim model if you need it. We await the release of them both.
