Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs Samsung Galaxy S5

Crossroads are more complicated when you have to choose from paths that look very similar. You just have to know where to go to and you would be good. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy S5 are both organic TouchWiz phones with an obvious difference but you just need to know what you want to choose. But, what is the actual difference? Lets find out.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the better design and better build quality by quiet a margin. In everyway, it was supposed to be a good development over the Galaxy S5’s design and build. They ditched the weird soft touch back panel and the side bezels are now metallic. Note 3 was a better choice over the S4 as well in design but Note 4 is just different from Galaxy S5. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is thin and really sleek. I would choose that.

Both these displays are outstanding. Galaxy S5 has this brilliant 5.1 inch full HD display but the Galaxy Note 4 comes out a much vibrant 5.7 inch Quad HD display. Both the displays give you that bliss you need, when you look at these displays. But, it is undeniable that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is leaps and bounds sharper and saturated than the Galaxy S5 by Samsung. Plus, you get a bigger display for all your entertainment. Note 4 takes the better of Galaxy S5 here as well.

This is a tough one. Both these phones have probably the same camera. They are 16MP and the same optics. There is nothing too different there. Even the UI is the same. This is a tie. The camera is very prone to over saturation in color but the detailing is extremely sharp. Also, Samsung has to do something about the exposure issues.

Even though both these Samsung phones are essentially based on the same UI, they have different set of features. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has this portal of brilliant things you can do with the S Pen and already has every single feature that the Galaxy S5 has to offer. You can make notes, make an actual digital scrapbook and what not. It is easier to multitask and cut and paste content you want to keep.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 comes with the Snapdragon 805 processor and Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with the Snapdragon 801 processor. Note 4 has 3GB RAM and S5 has 2GB of RAM. Yes, the Note 4 is the obvious faster performer. To add to that, it does come with a larger battery and a brilliant battery saver mode to save your battery at critical moments.
So yeah, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 can easily justify the extra price.
