Samsung showed us their cards at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2014. They unveiled 3 major tablets that they say will release in the first quarter of the year 2014 globally. The 3 tablets are Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. We all had heard Apple was about to come out with “Pro” line with a 12 inch tablet and see is here first.

Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2

Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2

Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 as the name suggests will have a 12.2 inch display. Also, the display has a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. Yeah, the display is not that dense at all. It is a pretty general pixel density of around 247 ppi. And not just this tablet but the Pro 10.1 and Pro 8.4, will all have the Snapdragon 800 processor which is a Quad Core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. Some of them might also have Samsung’s own Exynos 5 chipset depending upon which country do you live in.

The design on the three seems to be very similar. They have the same plastic built. Maybe on the
Galaxy S5 will feature some “premium” built they have been talking about. Pro series will feature Android v4.4 on all the three tablets. Samsung Galaxy Pro 12.2 will specifically have a 32GB and 64GB model along with 4G LTE support. It will also have a much larger 9,500 mAh battery on board.
All the three really look good, especially the 12.2. The large display looks really nice, basically the idea of such a big display and what you can do with the power it posses is really exciting. There is a whole new take to the UI as well.

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 will have the same resolution on the 10.1 inch display and 2GB of RAM compared to 3GB on the Pro 12.2. Also, it will feature a much smaller 4,500 mAh battery.
