BJGRAA7PWNY8 Nokia as we all know is now under Microsoft. This one and the few other things along with Nokia Lumia 1320 might be the last models we see under their name. Next models will have the Microsoft branding, running Microsoft’s Windows Phone OS. Nokia Lumia 1320 was a card played by Nokia to draw attention towards them over budget smartphone market. Read on and know more about this wonder gadget.
This phone certainly looks and feels really good in harnds. Nokia Lumia 1320 has a more matte like feel with a much smooter finishing. It is not actually matte but a silky smooth cover that feels like it. Nokia Lumia 1320 is exceptiaonlly thin and it account’s for this phone’s good looks. It is surely not around the average phone size these days, it is much larger. It won’t be the easiest of experiences for you to carry your Nokia Lumia 1320. But because of the thinness, it surely fits well in your pocket. And staying true to the Lumia generation, it comes in beautiful colors.
Nokia is making it all about the display. The aim here is to make Nokia Lumia 1320 for a much affordable cost with competetive specification and morr importantly, a larger display. Nokia is trying to sell a phablet here. Nokia Lumia 1320 has a 6 inch 720p HD display. Obviously, they won’t be able to lash out a full HD for this price hence for all there is, this display is really good. If you can calculate, it accounts for about 245ppi. It is not the most beautiful 6 inch display out there but it surely looks incerdibly amazing with averagely detailed icons or as they say “live tiles”. The colours look really good on this display and serves really well with it’s given size.
Oh, dosen’t everyone want a Carl Zeiss? (I don’t). Sadly for those who expected this one to have the power of the Carl Zeiss optics would be disppointed to know that Nokia Lumia 1320 has a non Carl Zeiss 5MP primary camera lens. The photos from this camera look really clean. They are often a tad under saturated but I would not really ask for more here. The video can be recorded in full HD 1080p quality. Nokia Lumia 1320 also has a VGA secondary camera which is pretty average.
Nokia is a class apart in this case because it runs on the Windows Phone 8 OS, the underdog. With the Nokia Black Update, they have made everything so ultra cool. You have amazingly interactive camera apps which enable yout o manipulate every aspect of your image. Nokia Lumia 1320 along with Windows Phones 8 account for a very wide range of live tiles on the larger display. You could probably fit in all the apps up there and get updates. Windows Phone 8 has now got most of the necsarry app and I would say it is a well established market.
Nokia Lumia 1320 is not the fastest of phones with it’s Qualcomm Snpdragon S4 processor. That processor is a Dual Core one clocked at 1.7GHz and it’s sidekick is a 1GB RAM. They really perform well together but as I said, it is far from the fastest it can be. The higer end model of the Nokia Lumia 1320 would be the Nokia Lumia 1520, you should check it out if you have the money to buy it. You get about 8GB of internal memory storage on Nokia Lumia 1320 with options to expand up to 64GB. There is no NFC support on Nokia Lumia 1320.
This phone is absolutely fantastic for people looking for a large display phone at a lower cost. Obviously there is all those Micromax, Xolo and Karbonn phones too but Nokia is well, Nokia. I would really go for this phone if I was looking for a phablet, but I don’t like such a larger display. Nokia Lumia 1320 is your choice to be and don’t worry about apps. Windows Phone has really cool apps now.
