Nokia Asha 205 Review

Nokia continues to ship qwerty dual sim phones for the normal use. The Nokia Asha 205 seems to be promising. These days less and less number of people are really bothered about buying a basic phone but for those of you concerned continue reading. The Asha 205 comes out in Cyan, Magenta, Orange, Pink and White. They have provided you with a Facebook button to have Facebook on the go.

Design and Display

Nokia Asha 205
The Asha 205 does not have an eye catching design but a fairly simple one. It is quiet thick than other QWERTY phones but not that all heavy weighing just about 90 grams. The keys might seem to be too small to use in the beginning but as you go on, you will get comfortable with it. The screen is a 2.4 inches TFT 64K colors with 320×240 pixels resolution having 167 ppi pixel density. That is a hell of a display to look at but it wont matter anyway just that it surely does not look cheap.

A VGA camera capable of capturing photos at a 640×480 pixel resolution is available on this phone. The video capturing quality is not at all acceptable and equal to not having video recording option. If you are buying this phone you are obviously not concerned about the camera anyway.

It has the general SMS, MMS, Email and IM. You got great speakers inbuilt and a fairly good music player to play the songs. The web browser is adobe flash capable and works quiet smooth but there is barely to see anything on a 2.4 inch screen. It does not have wifi so you have to be dependent upon your net pack by service provider to make use of that Facebook dedicated key right on the phone. The internal memory is only 64MB but through microSD cards expandable upto 32GB! For those who like having the option of dual sim, they provide that too.

Final Thoughts

Nokia Asha 205 is a fairly good basic phone to have, you get everything you need. No wifi is probably a minus but nevertheless a good looking powerful phone for basic daily use. You get it in different colours, so go personalize it. You have a good FM Radio and MP3 players for those who like to dedicate their time to music on the phone. Make full use of a dedicated Facebook button and buy this phone. It wont disappoint you.
