In this article I will compare you two phones from well-known smartphones both of which are budget smartphones and are of the same price. My intention here is clear, to show you how incredible the Motorola Moto G is against not just Samsung Galaxy Core but almost every other budget smartphone.

Design

Both, Motorola Moto G and Samsung Galaxy Core are incredible this way for their price. Both phones are made of plastic and they feel pretty natural in your hands. Going with the design, I would prefer the Motorola Moto G because the curved back seems to be tailored well for your hands and just sits right in. Samsung Galaxy Core is also great, and you might just prefer Galaxy Core if you like your hands on a flat back panel. For me, Design goes to Motorola Moto G.

Display

The two phones that we have here have very different displays. This one is kind of a no brainer as to which one is better. The Samsung Galaxy Core comes with a 4.3 inch display whereas the Motorola Moto G comes with a 4.5 inch display. Size is not big of a deal breaker here but, Motorola Moto G has an HD display whereas Galaxy Core comes with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. You know instantly which one looks better when you look at the displays, Motorola Moto G is the one to choose. It just has the more shaper and colourful display compared to the opposition.

Camera

This one is a close one. Both these phones come with 5MP primary camera. Motorola Moto G takes photographs which are pretty faded, they lack the colour and sharpness both of which are the form factor of any photograph. On the contrary, the images from Samsung Galaxy Core seem rather better. They are more colourful yet under statured. Video quality seems to be great on both the phones equally. Overall I prefer the Samsung Galaxy Core’s camera better than Motorola Moto G’s camera.

Software

Motorola Moto G has a big advantage over Samsung Galaxy Core as it breeds over the Android v4.3 Jelly Bean compared to Galaxy Core’s Android v4.1. But Samsung Galaxy Core comes with a number of features like Smart Stay that illuminates the display as long as you look at it and tons of other stuff that Motorola Moto G does not have. On the other hand, the platform itself has so many features that v4.3 just overpowers it and the fact Motorola Moto G will be getting a v4.4 KitKat update changes everything.

Performance

I will just be straight with this, Motorola Moto G is a much faster phone. Motorola Moto G has a 1.2GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 400 which is a state of the art processor which was used in premium phones last year. Samsung Galaxy Core has 1.2GHz Dual Core processor. Also, Motorola Moto G’s battery lasts to up to 2 days of moderate use or even more but Galaxy Core dies of in less than 1 and a half.

Final Verdict

Motorola Moto G is the better phone. It is faster, classier, dashing, the more smartphone of a smartphone than Samsung Galaxy Core. Motorola Moto G is the phone to take. I could just give away all the mid ranged phones for this beauty. Motorola Moto G is just the better choice.
