Looking at the success of Moto G, Motorola has decided to launch the Moto X in India. Motorola is now a Lenovo company and but when these smartphones released, they both belonged with Google. I still do not know who calls the shots but it was stupidity to not bring the Moto X to India. Moto G was sold out within hours of it’s release. The flamboyant Moto G is one of the bestselling smartphones of all time.
Moto X will be releasing in India by Flipkart on 19th April as rumoured. Moto X was awarded the smartphone of the year by well-known blogs including Technobuffalo. The specifications might not be too compelling given the price of the phone but believe me, if only a phone could be any smarter than the current generation phones- it is the Moto X.
Moto X has an AMAZING battery life! How amazing? Think 2 days of no charging or more with high usage. This is just incredible. Moto X learns your voice like nothing else and the virtual assistant is at your feel all the time, just say “Okay, Google” and it will be at your service. It is the smartest of all and now the always listening mode has been introduced in Android v4.4 KitKat phones as well. Along with it, the driving mode is amazing as well you would not even need to look at the phone, you can just interact with the phone easily.
Now about the specifications- A lot of hoha was over the fact that for a high end model, it did not have a full HD display. Moto X comes with a 4.7 inch AMOLED display which is a 720p HD display. Believe me, this display is flawless. You would not regret you bought this. Plus on the bright side, this is one of the smartest displays. It only lights up the necessary part of the screen for time and notifications. That saves a lot of battery. Moto X 10MP camera is the only thing I am not so happy with. It just does not take Galaxy S4 or iPhone 5 equivalent photos. You get 2GB of RAM and Snapdragon 1.2GHz Dual Core processor. It is that awkward moment when Moto G has a faster processor. But believe me, you will be an idiot to let this phone go.
Moto X will be in stores on 19th March 2014 on Flipkart. You will not get the Moto Maker availability, it will only come in various combinations of colours.
