Micromax Canvas 3D Review


Micromax is steadily launching a steam of new phones to fix its place in market. Micromax is giving more attention to middle class population all over the world, so one of its recent addition is CANVAS 3D. Canvas 3D is a 3D smart phone and it’s not just a first phone with this features, HTC and LG already tried this but high price was not liked by the people. Canvas 3D offers you similar features just in half range.
Micromax A115 Canvas 3D is middle range phone and comprises of all advanced and upgraded features. Canvas 3D is encompasses 5 inches capacitive touch screen which supports the resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, phone is powered by 1 GHz dual core processor enhanced by Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Phone has 5 MP cameras with LED flash to capture the image in dark. Front camera is also granted by Micromax. 3D feature of the phone offers you 3D feel and does not need 3D glasses to watch 3 D content. Design/ Build

Micromax A 115 Canvas 3D one of the good looking phone by Micromax. The external look of the phone is just similar to Canvas 2it is broad and bulky. The phone is quite thick is size and weight 188gm which is too heavy. And The front of the device is made up of 5 inches of scene with resolution of WVGA and a secondary camera at the top. Below the screen there are capacitive buttons which are equipped with light to help the user in dark. 3.5mm jack and a metallic band strip around the screen makes this device quite impressive. To provide you easy handling the gives power key on right side and volume rocker on left. The plastic body of the phone defines its actual beauty and makes you to feel soft. The back of the phone has a removable battery cover.

Micromax Canvas 3D offers you 5 inches TFT display capacitive touch screen.  It provides you clear video quality of resolution 480 X 800 pixels. The resolution of display screen is quite low with respect to its big screen. On changing the viewing angle to some degree the image softens that the only problem in its 5“screen.  Due it’s not low resolution of screen the pone fails to give sharp graphics and text. The deeper you can go i.e. pixel density of 188.  Micromax Canvas 3D is equipped with 3D feature, 3D feature of the enables you to see with necked eyes. New Canvas 3D runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) and powered by a MediaTek MT6577 SoC. Phone supports 1GHz processor and enhanced by the RAM of 512 MB. RAM of 512 MB helps the device to run smoothly without hanging and processor makes it to run faster multi-tasking is also possible in this phone. Processor of the phone can able to play 1020p HD videos and 720p clips through 1080p clips stuttered.

Android 4.1 jelly bean provides Google Now, which must be initialized for the first time. Micromax grants you notification tray that include shortcut features like Wi-Fi, Brightness, Rotation, Bluetooth, GPS, and many more. Internal user memory is only 930 MB and rest 3 GB is taken by software interface.  Micromax Canvas 3D lacks in Adobe Flash and speakers are not impressive at all.

To make user connection with world Canvas 3D offers you two bands for 2G and 3G network. For wireless connectivity pone provides you Wi-Fi to access internet. Quick file transfer of files can be done by its latest Bluetooth version 4.0 and USB plug.

Micromax offers 5Mega Pixel primary camera and VGA secondary front facing camera. Phone have just a single camera sensor to shoot 3D image, you need to capture first image and then to side of second image, final 3D image created. When the 3D image is opened in the PC no 3D effect is seen that image is converted to normal 2D image format. Phone does not provide you to record 3D videos. Video recording feature of camera is capable to record 720p videos. Image quality of the device is not up to the mark. Auto Focus feature makes decent quality look in bright light and lack in dark. However the video clips saved in .3GP format. Paranoma and HDR are some of its additional features. Phone also offers you feature of 99 continuous still short. To fill your demand of video calling pone offers you a VGA front facing camera.


Battery Life

Phone is powered with 2000mAH power supply and it’s capable to last long. The excessive use of battery can even work throughout a day. Various on screen option are also provided by the phone to minimize the use of battery.
