iPad Air Review

The new 10 inch iPad from Apple has been given the name- iPad Air, yeah not iPad 5th Generation. This could be because of a future possibility of a “Pro” line that we have heard rumours of already. Apple iPad Air is by far the best tablet by Apple and might also be the best by any manufacturer. It is so easy to love this just because of the design and built. iPad Air is surely beautiful but also a beast carrying that 64-bit Apple A7 chip. Read on and know if you love it enough to buy it.

This is just the forte where Apple is a master- Design. Thanks to John Ive and his team, the world gets the best out of them. Apple iPad Air stays true to it’s name. It is amazingly light, it just weighs 1 pound. It is the lightest premium tablet available on the market currently. If you have used an iPad mini, you will realize it is a larger version of that similar design. Yeah, nothing to do with iPad 4th gen. The iPad Air is just so nice to touch, the smooth aluminium will melt you away. Holding it is really easy. They have reduced the bezel size from both directions; it allows you to focus on the display better. I just can’t emphasize enough how great this tablet is to use.

When you have a 10-inch tablet, one of the most crucial thing is the display! Apple iPads have never disappointed and they never will. The 10 inch retina display on the Apple iPad Air has one of the most beautiful displays on any tablet period. The text looks incredibly sharp, colours so vivid with just the right saturation. I don’t think there is anything better than an iPad’s 10 inch Retina Display. Somehow, with iOS 7 and new GPU, it does not wear your eyes out that easily or maybe it was just my excitement. The viewing angles, black levels, anything you can think of are just incredible. No shortcomings.

I have said this enough, the front facing camera matters more on a tablet. You can’t just use the primary camera on the 10 inch iPad Air as an actual primary camera instead of the smartphone or point and shoot. The 1.2 MP front facing camera is just right. It can put up with a quality of 720p. Your video calls will be not be pixelated. Also the nice back illumination tech makes your video calls clearer.

There is nothing revolutionary on this front. It runs the latest iOS 7 by Apple. The user interface is just as friendly as we know of from Apple. Just using the incredible goodness of Apple as a whole on an iPad Air is a stunning experience. The parallax effect is more exaggerated on the larger display and just overall runs better on the new hardware.

Like we mentioned before, a beautiful tablet yet a beast with the new Apple A7 chip. It is the first 64 bit processor we are seeing on the tablet, just like the first on the smartphone on Apple iPhone 5S. It is so freaking fast that Apps that can use the full potential of the 64 bit architecture are yet in production and not made. You get a really nice battery life with about 14 hours of time. The 1GB RAM is ideal for the iOS 7 to handle your multitasking. You get options of 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of storage available. There is no NFC. Bottom line- BEST IPAD YOU EVER USED.

Final Thoughts

Like I just said, best iPad you will ever use. The OS is optimized better with this new hardware, the design is incredible, display- always to die for on iPads, the stunningly fast processor will blow you away. There is nothing I would change about this tablet.

There is nothing better for a person than his views to be heard. I am a music, tv shows, movies and technological enthusiast.
