HTC One M8 Review

Pushing the limits- that’s what HTC is doing. Many people adjudged HTC One to be the best phone of 2013. And how do you make an exceptional phone even better? HTC has the answer and it is called the HTC One M8. Looking at the Samsung Galaxy S5, I can safely HTC One M8 is well above and beyond what Galaxy S5 is. Let us look at this wonderful smartphone closer because I want you to be as amazed as I am.

HTC One M8
We have to talk about the HTC One to tell you the advances on the HTC One M8. HTC One was this beautiful aluminium master smartphone that just felt one of the best things you have ever held in those hands. The only shortcoming was the edges, they just were not that awesome, and they were of some other material which just wasn’t right. On the HTC One M8, all that is changed. Even if that kind of aluminium did not satisfy you, they have a soft touch metallic material now which will blow you away.

The soft metal is present all around even on the edges. It is made from millions of metallic strings all layered with no space to give it the finish and look it has right now. The boom speakers now are much, much clearer with the same loudness. You can now use those speakers to give you sound from third party devices as well.

HTC One M8
This is the only area where not much advancement has been made. HTC One M8 has a 5.0 inch 1080p full HD display. The HTC One had a 4.7 inch, hence the display was a tad denser. When you compare the two phones, you won’t find one denser than the other as the difference is just marginal. The display on the HTC One M8 is just incredible. It has got great vibrant colours with razor sharp accuracy to detail. Even the viewing angles are just brilliant. This is the best display on the smartphone period.

There are more people who criticize the HTC Ultrapixel camera than the people who appreciate it. I belong to the ones you appreciate the camera. I love the Ultrapixel sensor. It surely captures the true detailing of the subject but it is just not there in terms of the colour saturation. The brighter side is that it takes probably one of the best low light photos. I prefer it over the Lumia ones because they tend to lose the sense of the photographs. And the video recording in low light is the best on the HTC One M8 period.

You get full say in the HTC One M8’s camera out comes. You get to control WB, ISO and everything you can in a high end camera. HTC Zoe is new and improved with much smoother UI and burst mode even more seamless. The best of the developments come with the dual camera along with the 4MP Ultrapixel camera which captures the depth and subject information that allows your photos not just to be controlled like a high end camera but also give the finishing of the high end camera. HDR mode is faster and gives you better results.
Front camera has a 5MP sensor. Selfies would come so clean and so amazing that you might just start loving yourself more than ever.

HTC One M8
HTC is calling the HTC Sense 6 the Sixth Sense. Cool yeah? It runs on the Android v4.4.2 KitKat. HTC One M8’s Blinkfeed is now customizable and like the Flipboard you can create your own feed. Also the Blinkfeed is available for developers to manipulate and make it better. You get your health information and a lot more as HTC has entered a partnership with different companies.

I have already told you about the HTC Zoe and also how you can use the Boom Sound speakers with other hardware. The IR blaster now gives you more info with the schedule of the TV and you can directly share your views on the social networking sites with a swipe from the schedule page. There are endless features that just shine the HTC One M8 to it’s absolute brightest.

HTC just goes round to change things and actually cover up what consumer thought was a setback in their previous flagship. Battery life was not that good on the HTC One but the awesomeness of HTC One M8’s battery will blow you away. HTC One M8 can stay on for endless hours on the super saver mode. If you leave the phone on 100% battery life on super saver mode on standby, it goes on for 2 freaking weeks! Yes weeks!
HTC One M8 comes with 2 GB RAM and Snapdragon 801 2.3GHz processor. It is just one of the fastest phones around to use. HTC One M8 is super quick and super smooth. It just works better and has it’s awe when you use it.

Passion and Inspiration drives my life and I get them both from technology. Getting to write about it is an absolute bliss. The bliss comes from people reading what you want to convey. There is nothing better for a person than his views to be heard. I am a music, tv shows, movies and technological enthusiast.
