HTC One E8 Review

HTC is known for the design it has been creating with the beautiful new hardware as well as software. What they have done with the HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 is nothing short of incredible. Even the HTC Sense UI’s design is something to reckon with. They have gone off that hold with the new HTC One E8 which is okay with design and comes with a plastic body. Let us dive in and take a closer look.

Design wise, the HTC One E8 is pretty. It looks nice and might even fool you from the front that it is a HTC One M8, but it is not. When you hold it you clearly feel betrayed that HTC has not made the premium metal available here. But, that is the point. HTC One E8 is supposed to the HTC One M8 with a plastic body. Why? I have no clue. HTC One E8 has similar curves but not as accurately engineering like the HTC One M8. Also, the body is really glossy. Glossier than anything Samsung has ever made but the quality is still bang on for the plastic body. You even have those Boom Sound speakers from the HTC One M8. Incredibly loud and amazingly clear.

HTC One E8 has the exact same display, a 5 inch full HD display. It is crystal clear in detailing and has good colour tones thanks to HTC’s engineering. The display is much better than most of the 5 inch full HD displays out there thanks to their colour tones. The big size allows for prolong entertainment. The viewing angles are good and you should not have any major problems looking at it in direct sunlight as well.

HTC has ditched the Ultrapixel camera here for obvious reasons. HTC One E8 has a new 13MP sensor instead. HTC One E8 has a really good camera. I would not compare it to the amazing sensors that Galaxy S5 or the Sony Xperia Z2 has but it surely is around the top of the class. With much warmer and good colour tones you can get eye soothing photos with every click. The HTC One E8 has a great UI thanks to HTC with the HTC Zoe and all the customization it allows. It takes crystal clear full HD videos, you will fall in love with it.

HTC has made this incredible UI that I think is the best user interface there is on Android. It is very sensible and of top class design. HTC One E8 works on the latest HTC Sense 6, with the new improved HTC Blinkfeed and HTC Zoe. HTC Blinkfeed now just does not allow you to look at updates but also interact with them. It gives you more information than before and it is just is brilliant.

You get the best processor there is for a phone right now- the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and along with 2GB RAM it is an unstoppable Android smartphone you cannot get your hands off. HTC One E8 is just like the HTC One M8 with it’s performance benchmarks and the battery backup. HTC One E8 has this incredible battery backup that allows you to put it on save mode and endlessly save it. HTC One E8 gives you 8GB and 16GB internal memory and is expandable to as much as 128GB!

Passion and Inspiration drives my life and I get them both from technology. Getting to write about it is an absolute bliss. The bliss comes from people reading what you want to convey. There is nothing better for a person than his views to be heard. I am a music, tv shows, movies and technological enthusiast.
