HTC Desire 601 Review

HTC is a ship sinking but they still somehow are able to push off products for consumers. The latest addition is a smartphone in the mid ranged price- HTC Desire 601. It is a very decent good looking phone that works incredibly well. Let’s dig into details and know if this works well for you.

The front of the phone is the same as that of a HTC One but it certainly is not of the similar built quality. HTC Desire 601 is pretty nice with a 600 Desire type of built. It is not exactly metallic but it grips your hand perfectly and feels good enough to hold it. HTC Desire 601 has some amazing speakers. They are of the same calibre as that on the HTC One, believe it or not.

HTC Desire 601 comes with a 4.5 inch qHD display. The resolution is of 960×540 pixels. The colours are really vibrant and have great consistency and tone. You will instantly fall in love with the display on HTC Desire 601. It has great viewing angles and dark black levels. It is a one display which is meant to be great. HTC Desire 601 just becomes exponentially likeable with the display alone.

This mid-range beast comes with a standard 5 MP camera. It does not produce the best of details but for a 5MP shooter, it is excitingly colourful and not much under saturated like other mid ranged smartphones. HTC Desire 601 has got some seriously amazing UI for camera. You get to choose every domain of each photo, you can customize it both post and pre photo. You are going to enjoy this one for sure.

HTC Desire 601 comes with Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean, where the majority of Android products lay. You get a very nice HTC Sense UI, the same user interface that first featured on the HTC One. You get the goodness of HTC Zoe an amazingly interactive camera app and the HTC Blinkfeed to get all your updates from the apps, it is something like a flipboard. Google Play store, the usual chamber for Android apps is in your vicinity for apps.

This is the strongest suit of HTC Desire 601. It has the same processor that powers HTC One X+ and Galaxy S3, the Snapdragon 400 processor. The processor is a 1.4 GHz Dual Core processor. HTC Desire 601 comes with 2GB RAM. Together they account for an absolute powerhouse. You get 8GB of internal memory on this badass phone and usual NFC and Bluetooth technology for sharing and pairing.

HTC Desire 601 comes for Rs. 21,000

Passion and Inspiration drives my life and I get them both from technology. Getting to write about it is an absolute bliss. The bliss comes from people reading what you want to convey. There is nothing better for a person than his views to be heard. I am a music, tv shows, movies and technological enthusiast.
