HCL ME G1 Tablet looks incredible and feels incredible when you hold it. They have got the built quality just right. Nice curves on the back ensure it fits right in and you don’t have many problems with its big size. Portability is an issue on the huge 10 inch tablets and this one is no exception. HCL ME G1 is quiet thick too, so that’s that. The functionality buttons are placed on the left hand side over the top. It comes in black and white colors.
The 9.7 inch display has a resolution of 1024×768 pixels. It is quiet good to look it, pretty amazing when you compare it to other HCL tablets. You can see uniformity in colors on this display. You won’t have any problems reading on this tablet, it has nice viewing angles as well. Video playback is great and it is just even better because the size is so frantically big. The graphics from the Mali GPU looks so-so, gaming experience still needs a better base to be projected and they need to do something about it because people care, they care even more when they buy a 9.7 inch tablet.
Camera is still a huge disappointment. There is a 2MP camera on the rear takes photos that you cannot just look more than twice. The pixels are here, they are there and they are everywhere (visible, distinctly!). Color quality of the pictures is really bad, detailing- don’t even talk about it. The front facing camera is ok. The camera is there, just for the sake of being there. Images look classically terrible. Video calling is bad too, you can see the other person but he can’t see you, not even if they freeze the screen. HCL needs some serious work to be done on their camera lenses.
Android v4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich is the mobile operating system being used on the HCL ME G1 tablet. It looks great, frankly a little too good with the user interface it has. It is really simple to operate even for the first timers. Google Play has the apps and you have got the money, buy yourself the useful stuff and work with glory. I don’t even know what I am saying. It is just boring to write about software and have nothing great to describe.
A dual core 1.2GHz processor makes it way on the HCL G1 along with 1GB DDR3 RAM. It works really well, so much better than many of the Micromax tablets, HCL’s own and let’s say better than the rest of the budget tablets. It lags really less. It comes with 8GB of internal memory expandable to 32GB.
The most affordable 10 inch tablet is here and it really works well for its cost. The camera remains an issue otherwise you ahead buy it. It has the juice to fuel your apps on the tablet. It is pretty awesome how great it actually works.
HCL ME G1 tablet comes for Rs. 13500
