The next big thing is coming. Google Nexus 5 is around the corner. Along with it we will welcome the Android v4.4 and lots of other things. I am really excited about the Google Nexus 5. We first saw it when Google had released a video of Android v4.4 KitKat’s statue going on the Google’s HQ. It might just be deliberate. Since then, a series of leaks have been witnessed. And from that we can confirm that in that unveiling video, it was the Nexus 5.
Nexus 5 Specifications
The leaks also suggest the manufacturer will be LG, same as that made the Nexus 4. Surprisingly, a user manual has also been leaked. It gives us a clear cut idea of what to expect from the Google Nexus 5. So what will Google Nexus 5 have? For starters, it will provide you with a full HD 1080p 5.0 inch display. It will come with Snapdragon 800 processor, the faster of the Snapdragons. It is Quad Core and clocked at 2.3GHz. Nexus 5 will carry a standard 2GB of RAM. All this sums up to one word- “AWWW freaking SUM”. Needless to say it will have NFC and Bluetooth v4.0. Looking at this specification round up, it will be a high end phone unlike the Nexus 4.
Nexus 5 Design
The design of the Nexus 5 seems to be really nice. We can see I nice soft matte like finish. The slight curves around the edges will give it a comfortable hold. Nexus 4 might not have been really feature-full, but that is why it is the “Nexus” running stock Android. We hope Google is able to incorporate a lot more in this phone software wise and still keep it alive and smooth like the Nexus 4. Just looking at the device, it is not something I would just throw my money at. But it would be totally different looking at it live.
Nexus 5 Release Date
Google Nexus 5 is rumored to release on 15th Oct 2013. It will take some time for it to release in India. It will run the Android v4.4 KitKat. In Sept, Google took the world by a shock when they named KitKat their next gen OS in partnership with Nestle. So, Goodbye Key Lime Pie. We expect some amazing stuff from Google Nexus 5, hope they won’t disappoint.
