curve 4

New BlackBerry Curve 9220 is just similar to its predecessor BlackBerry curve 8520 and just a bit thinner than it. Plastic body of the phone defines its outlook and the rubber buttons on the edge makes this phone to look better. Plastic body of the phone can tolerate few falls and prevent without major damage. QWERTY keyboard of the phone is much liked by QWERTY lover, a new feature i.e. backlight is put in it so that user can text even in dark.

Short key features makes this best of all, in designing  the present of BBM key at the left hand of the handset gives you instant way to send message. Similarly right hand side some key is dedicated to camera and volume. Top of the phone includes lock key and audio jack of 3.5mm. The slim look of the phone makes easily put in in the pocket and it can easily grab in hands. This device is much comfortable in hand as well in pocket. The back panel of the phone can be easily removed to take off the battery and swapping of SIM card or memory card.

curve 2

BlackBerry Curve 9220 arises with the display of 2.44 inches diagonally. TFT LCD display is capable to give resolution of 320 X 240 pixels. Since, BlackBerry is short screen phone but it’s still more efficient to give good resolution and satisfies the user for which it’s made for.

BlackBerry Curve 9220 comprises of latest BlackBerry operating system 7.1. Initially this device runs on 800MHz processor to provide effective speed to the system and coupled with RAM of 512 MB which offers optimum performance. This operating system is full of new powerful features and innovative pre-installed apps. On comparing the latest BlackBerry OS 7.1 to BlackBerry OS 5 and 6 the new one works with faster speed and more friendly to users. New operating system also supports hotspot, FM radio and brings you a way to connect with social networking Sites like Facebook, Twitter. Undoubtedly BBM feature makes it to own.

curve 7

BlackBerry Curve 9220 offers you 2 mega pixels camera. The camera of is not too good like the camera of latest android in this range but it’s just an average to capture the image instantly. No LED flash is granted by phone to capture the image in dark. Device also lacks in to capture quick shorts and have fixed focus. Overall I can say that camera is the weakest part of the device, poor image quality even in bright light and will be the worse without LED in dark. Video quality of the phone just an average no extra feature is imparted to it.

curve 5

BlackBerry curve is loaded with EDGE, GPRS and Wi-Fi to make you connected with your friends and family. Internet makes you to connect with world with your phone. Quick transfer of multimedia files are done by its feature of Bluetooth and sharing of latest news and updates can be possible by its pre-installed apps. BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) as given a face to connectivity of phone unlike other devices, to connect instantly phone offers you a dedicated soft key.

curve 6

BlackBerry Curve 9220 is powered by Lithium-ion 1450mAH battery which last long. 1450mAH battery is enough to work for the screen of 2.44 inches. On heavy usage of battery it can go long almost 2 days. When phone is fully charged is provides a standby time up to 432 hours. The storage of multimedia files can be done in internal memory and can expended to 32 GB using micro SD card or microSDHC cards.

BlackBerry Curve 9220 is low budget phone and works on latest BlackBerry OS 7.1, powered by the 800 GHz processor.  The hardware definitely feels awesome in hand and QWERTY pad make it better in messaging. The presence of Wi-Fi and FM Radio and good battery backup make it appreciated.

The biggest drawback for BlackBerry is its 2 MP camera which does not satisfy users need. Screen of 2.44 inches is also not up to the mark. Overall this phone is just an average phone and average in its feature.
