Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review

Apple is ready to take on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with its large phone the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. This time Apple did not just deliver one large smartphone but two. Apple iPhone 6 Plus with 5.5 inch display and the Apple iPhone 6 with the 4.7 inch display. There are a few things here and there apart from the display that give this phone the tag of being a tad better than the Apple iPhone 6.

Apple iPhone 6 Plus is just a larger Apple iPhone 6. It has the same exact design and the exact build quality. Apple iPhone 6 Plus has a flat back like every other Apple smartphone ever made. It has curved edges though and the whole design makes me look back and reminds me of the original iPhone. The built quality is just amazing. The aluminum is actually slippery, it is that smooth. You can grip the phone easily even though it is quiet large. Like the Apple iPhone 6, my disappointment remain in that speakers that are still at the bottom and not loud enough.

The display is really large on the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. It comes with a full HD 5.5 inch display. It surely is beautiful. Apple displays are the best. They call it “Retina” display for a reason. It gives you the most realistic colour on a display. It is warm and it has the best detailing ever. I loved the 4 inch Retina Display so much, I completely am head over heels for this larger display which is just even more beautiful. I can now watch hours of videos and not get tired as it is larger than the 4 inch, way larger. Apple iPhone 6 Plus even has a landscape mode.

Camera is something Apple cannot get wrong apart from the design. Actually they don’t get the display wrong as well. So the camera still takes 8MP photos but with different technology. Apple iPhone 6 Plus has OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) which compensates for the movement of your hand it shakes or you just move it for no reason. The camera takes beautiful photos, I was blown away with what the OIS did. It even uses a technology for faster focus where you barely realize the sensor is focusing as you move the phone around. It also takes the most stable video as well. You barely notice the shakiness. The camera easily compensates for that disturbance. Apple iPhone 6 Plus has this best sense of colour just like the display. Again the Apple sensors get the best colour representation there can be on a smartphone camera. It can even take 240fps slow motion video which looks really incredible.

You get iOS 8 out of the box on the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. It does a really good with all the additional features they offer. You can read all about them here. iOS 8 is surely the greatest release in iOS history. Apple iPhone 6 Plus gets this different representation from apps as it gives you more information now on the larger display. Developers are still updating their apps to get more out for the larger display and surely it is around the corner.

Apple iPhone 6 Plus gives you 2GB of RAM and 2nd Generation 64 bit Apple A8 processor which is much faster than the previous Apple A7. They could have kept the A7 and still this phone would have been a full fledged beast. Apple has the smoothest experience which is exceptionally fast. Apple really does amazingly well. There are 16GB, 64 GB and 128GB models. There is an incredible amp to the battery life. It gives you more or than just a day on the battery.

Passion and Inspiration drives my life and I get them both from technology. Getting to write about it is an absolute bliss. The bliss comes from people reading what you want to convey. There is nothing better for a person than his views to be heard. I am a music, tv shows, movies and technological enthusiast.
