Apple iPhone 5S vs Google Nexus 5

Two of the top phones from last year take the stand here, the Apple iPhone 5S and the Nexus 5. This is a comparison meant to be with nexus being the actual stock Android up against the arch rival iOS. Both of them are excitingly amazing and this will be a tough one.

These are two very different phones in the making. Nexus 5 has this amazingly smooth matte built. It feels really comfy in the hands and grips it perfectly. Apple iPhone 5S on the other hand has the most incredible premium builds on a smartphone, just holding an iPhone 5S makes you feel that you got your money worth it. The design itself is mind blowing on the iPhone 5S. Design: Apple iPhone 5S.

Nexus 5 went all in, it has an incredible 5 inch HD Display. Apple iPhone 5S comes with a 4 inch Retina Display which is known for the vibrant colours and detailing. The colours are much better on the iPhone 5S than the Nexus 5 but then the Nexus has it’s own awe of quality and seamlessness. Also the viewing angles on the Apple iPhone 5S is incredible. Nexus 5 does a great job at that too but iPhone 5S smashes overall graphical performance. Display: Apple iPhone 5S.

Apple iPhone 5S is just one of the best smartphone camera there is and there is no better way to say this than to tell you Nexus 5 does not stand a chance against iPhone 5S on this one. The Nexus produces some of the most over saturated images there is. On the 5S, everything is pretty close to perfection. There is no match for iPhone 5S’s night shots when compared to the Nexus 5. Camera: Apple iPhone 5S.

You get the stock Android, that is the purest version of Android there is on the Nexus 5. It is the new Android v4.4 KitKat with incredible new features. It works really well and is just like older Android versions with little new things here and there. Also, KitKat’s voice assistance is far better and beyond than Siri on the Apple iOS 7 but design wise I prefer iOS 7. Overall: Nexus 5.

Nexus 5 offers you one of the fastest Snapdragon processor, actually the second fastest- Snapdragon 800 and Apple iPhone 5S the A7 with co-processor M7 that gives you world’s first 64 bit computing power on a smartphone. The A7 on paper is much faster than the Snapdragon 800 but both of them make their respective phones work really seamlessly smooth. Battery life on both of them is pretty much the same. Performance: Tie.

WINNER: Apple iPhone 5S
