There is a bull fight going on and it just got a lot tenser. Both, Apple and Google unveiled their tablets on basically the same day. It is going to be a direct war in the market. Whoever gets the more market share would be the better product for people. Previously, when market sales of each quarter used to surface, even though we knew which phone was the best selling, or which tablet. The release date matters a lot. Recent products always sell more and then get saturated in sales. Google Nexus 9 and Apple iPad Air 2 is a clear fight.
So before they go on for sale let us look and compare the specifications and design. Google Nexus 9 is designed by HTC and Apple iPad Air 2 is well, designed by
Apple. They both are really freakishly thin, the iPad Air 2 is 6.1mm thin and the Nexus 9 is 7.9mm thin. iPad Air 2 fancies the amazing aluminium and the HTC made Nexus 9 has a nice matte finish. Google Nexus 9 has an 8.9 inches 1536×2048 pixels resolution. iPad Air 2 on the other hand has a similar resolution on an 10 inch display. The most basic difference between them is obviously that Apple iPad Air 2 runs on iOS 8 and Nexus 9 runs on Android’s latest v5.0 Lollipop.
Nexus 9 is available in the 16GB and 32GB models whereas iPad Air 2 has 16GB, 64GB and 128GB models. Both these tablets have 2 GB of RAM. Nexus 9 uses a Nividia Tegra K1 processor and iPad Air 2 uses the 64 bit Apple A8X processor. Apple iPad Air 2 is up for $489 for the most basic model and Nexus 9 is up for pre order $399 for the most basic model.
